I’m so happy and thankful for my school opportunities and I’m so excited to travel and start my career but the shittiest thing is that I have no one who is family or home to me. I have successfully ruined any relationship with my mom, dad, and now sister. But truth lets out after years and years and the fact that you were covering up that you don’t like each other at all because you don’t want to hurt them because “it’s family.” It hurts so bad to know someone who is your sibling truly thinks bad of you and does not like the person that you are.
when do you realize you love someone? well, when you look at them sleep and get the feeling you could get used to that. or when you wake up next to them and you realize that you want to wake up to their drool and bed head for the rest of your life. when you talk to them and catch yourself entranced by their voice. when you find yourself looking at pictures of them all the time. when they burp in your face and it isn’t as disgusting as it was when it first happened because you’ve gotten used to it and you’d rather get burped at in the face than not have them in your life. that’s when you realize you love someone, when every little thing they do is so much cuter, when the gross things get a little less gross, and when you feel like if you lost them you’d be losing your best friend. when you’d be willing to spend the rest of your life with them because there’s nothing left to explore out there, if it’s not being experienced with them.
